We're currently building up our teams based in our Makati office. We're looking for talented, engaged and resourceful people to join our organisation to help build it and grow with it.

The Legal Intern will report to and work closely with our Contracts and Compliance Manager, and collaborate with other members of the Legal Team and other employees, to help define, create and edit legal documents and contracts to both protect RISE Inc. and help us move our business forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management
    • Accurately prepare contracts with due guidance from the Legal Team including, when asked, Service Agreements, Employment Contracts, and other similar documents

    • Extensively review contracts before sending them to internal / external stakeholders and suggest revisions when needed

    • Ensure complex commercial contracts relating to new products, offerings are aligned are compliant to internal company provisions and external government regulatory bodies

    • Regularly update the contracts database after the preparation, review, submission, and notarization, of the same

  • Corporate Legal Research
    • Effectively assist the Legal Team in conducting research on corporate law, amendments to the same, including but not limited to Labor Laws, Safety Laws, Foreign Workers Laws

    • Accurately conduct due diligence on strategic partnerships, investments, and similar opportunities

    • When necessary, efficiently support Executive Management in researching industry related updates relevant to business operations

  • Legal and Administration
    • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders in matters relating to camaraderie-building, group activities, or social activities

    • When necessary, prepare legal drafts for legal forms and documents by organizing and summarizing information, documents, reports and evidence gathered


  • Currently enrolled in a pre-law undergraduate course
  • Able to render a minimum of twenty (20) hours of work in the office per week
  • In good academic standing in their university
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, Google Suites, and other computer applications
  • Able to think critically and make important decisions based on sound judgment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn different facets of the business
  • Discretion and able to keep items confidential at all times
  • Able to multitask under pressure and deliver quality output
  • Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment
